I am glad to inform you that as part of ILRI’s investment in capacity development, all staff, fellows and interns will soon have access to Nature Masterclasses Online, specifically on Scientific Writing and Publishing. ILRI’s subscription will offer unlimited access to the scientific writing and publishing training, designed and delivered by a selection of Nature journal editors.

The Nature Masterclasses Online offers researchers the tools and resources needed to write a high-quality manuscript and better understand the publishing processes. The scientific writing and publishing course covers all key aspects of the writing process, from start to finish on a scientific manuscript, choosing the right journal, submitting and acceptance processes. The training content is delivered by a selection of Nature journal editors, giving their insight and expertise in effective communication of research and writing impactful and clear manuscripts.

CapDev is working closely with ICT, P&OD and Natureresearch on set-up and access modalities. Details will be shared in early January 2019.

A full introductory presentation/webinar on this important resource will be delivered to all ILRI staff, fellows and interns by Natureresearch team on Wednesday 16th January 2019, 12.00 to 12.45 pm. Please plan to attend. You will soon receive a calendar invite. Further updates will follow in due course.
