I am pleased to announce that through a rigorous competitive selection process, Alemayehu Ademe was selected as the new head of the Engineering and Facilities Unit and started working on 3 September.
Alemayehu graduated from Addis Ababa University in civil engineer and has nearly 20 years of experience civil engineering and construction project management. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of PMI. He is also certified in PRINCE2 (a project management methodology), as a Practicing Professional Engineer in Construction Management (PPCM) in Ethiopia, and as a Management Consultant (by Ethiopian Management Institute-EMI). He is also a member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).
He worked with GIZ in various management roles of increasing responsibility for six years in the implementation of the rural health infrastructure project. For the past five years he was the general manager and co-founder of a management consulting firm.
