Theme: Accelerating Nutritional Gains Through Agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, USAID and other Multi-Sectoral Development partners have planned for the 2nd National Agri-Nutrition conference as a platform for experience sharing, highlighting the investment opportunities in agri-nutritional programming, and developing a roadmap towards scaling up of best nutrition-sensitive agricultural practices. The theme of the Conference is: Accelerating Nutritional Gains Through Agriculture, at the Kenya School of Government, Nairobi-Kenya. The opening ceremony will be officiated by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation, Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri, while the closing will be presided over by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Health, Hon. Sicily Kariuki.

The conference will have presentations, plenary discussions, themed break away sessions as

well as exhibitions from various agri-nutrition stakeholders and actors.
