As you all know, the Mail room service under Supply chain is providing mails and cheque distribution to staff. Through different means the feedback we received from staff and project was informing the arrival of mails/cheques was a challenge. We have seen an increase of ILRI official post address usage by staffs of ILRI, hosted institutes and residents; some of the posts delivered by spouse name, ex-staff or a name without a project or department name resulted a number of posts being kept undistributed and sometimes makes the distribution cumbersome.

We advised to let the sender explicitly indicate the name of the staff member, department or project for easy identification and/or if you expect any post you have to check with mail room periodically on the arrival of posts.
