CGIAR’s Google Apps (the suite of communication and collaboration tools) known internally as CGXchange, has been supported as a service to communicate and collaborate for the past 8 years. This service included the possibility of signing in with your CGIAR credentials.
Starting this Thursday, Dec 22, 2016, the feature that allows authentication to CGXchange with your CGIAR credentials will be stopped and this change how you login. Any changes to your password will not be synchronized with CGXchange.
How to login to CGXchange after Dec 22, 2016?
Note: If you have never logged in to CGXchange, no action is required from your end.
CGXchange Site: www.CGXchange.org
Username: Use your full CGXChange email address e.g. t.goldwin@cgxchange.org
Password: Your last known CGIAR password
More instructions to login can be found here: http://www.cgxchange.org/home/sign-in
What else do I need to do now, if I am a user of CGXchange?
Given your CGIAR password will no longer be connected automatically to CGXchange, it is recommended to set up a recovery mobile phone number starting any time now, so that if you forget your password or are locked out after Dec 22, you will be able to reset it yourself. Once logged in to CGXchange, please follow these instructions to set up a recovery phone number. Note: the recovery email has already been setup for you, i.e.: your @cgiar.org email address.
