International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is pleased to announce a Seminar by Prof. Murray Grant, Elizabeth Creak Chair in Food Security, School of Life Sciences, University of Warwick, UK. His research interests center around plant-microbe interactions with a predominate focus on host responses to pathogenic bacteria. His group is also studying the mechanisms underpinning biocontrol and plant growth promotion conferred by beneficial fungi and have interest in applying our general expertise to emerging tree diseases.

Topic: Understanding the transition from defence to disease; a study of Pseudomonas infection strategies.
