Roland Mugumya joined the ILRI Livelihoods, Gender and Impact (LGI) Program on 15th November 2016 as a Research Technician under the East African Dairy Development (EADD) project. He will be based in Uganda.
He has more than 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), gained both locally and with the East and Central African region. Previously, he worked as the Monitoring, Evaluation and Communications Coordinator with the Centre for Development Innovation, and as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa (ASARECA).
Roland holds a dual International Master of Science degree in Rural Development from Ghent University of Belgium and Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Makerere University. He has experience in conducting surveys, project management, monitoring and evaluation and value chain development.
