Ayalneh Mulatu has been appointed as Administrative Officer in the Administration Department effective July 2016. Prior to joining ILRI, he was working as a Head of Administration at Africa Humanitarian Action-Djibouti Country Office.  Ayalneh holds an MSc degree in Project Management from University of Salford and a BA  in Economics from Addis Ababa University.

Kefena Effa has been appointed as National Program Coordinator in Animal Biosciences Program effective September 2016.  Before joining ILRI, he was working as a Senior Dairy Cattle Breeder and Geneticist at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR). Kefena holds a PhD  in Animal Genetics and Breeding from Haramaya University, MSc  in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Haramaya University and BSc  in Animal Production and Rangelands Management from Awassa College of Agriculture.

Tewodros Weldesemayat has been appointed as Security Group Leader in security unit effective September 2016.  Previously, he was working as a Trainer, Instructor and Head of External Relations Office at Ethiopian Police University College. Tewodros holds LLB degree in Law from Addis Ababa University and a Diploma in Police Science from Ethiopian Police University College.
