Training- the- Trainers programme will be a four hour training of OA advocates to strengthen their capacity championing for open access and open science. Training- the- trainers will be a platform bringing together post graduate students (masters and PhD) and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) advocating for open access and open science from Ruaraka in Nairobi with the aim of training OA ambassadors. This training will provide a good platform to roll out OA training initiative to a large number of students and ECRs in higher learning institutions as well as research institutes/ departments.
One of the key speakers will be Iryna Kuchma, the Program Manager of Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL).
