In our continuous drive to improve efficiency and customers satisfaction, Engineering and Facilities Unit  has rolled out an online maintenance software (http://ilriethcafm ).

This will enable our esteem clients to log in maintenance requests and track progress from the comfort of their office/home.

To facilitate follow up on work progress and queries we would encourage you to log maintenance request through the following:

• ILRI office occupants – pass your request through departmental admin assistants.
• ILRI residences – pass through the housing office either on email Lemma@cgiar.org , or call Ext. 2640.
• Other queries/assistance on the software – write to engineering helpdesk at ilrietengineering@cgiar.org 2374.

Training on the software has been ongoing for main user and is still on.

We will distribute hard-copy flyers and send out attached document through emails for more elaborate procedure on logging a work order and also about the software.

In summary:

• We urge those who need to keep track of jobs to do so through Admin Assistants.
• Any other routine observations can directly be reported by any ILRI campus user, logged in on  http://ilriethcafm.  Nonetheless, using the job number, any user can get a status report from the Engineering Help-desk by making a follow-up.
