Yammer Upgrade on 8 August

Since at least 2008, many CGIAR staff members have been using Yammer to share updates and discuss their work.
Yammer is part of Office 365, and it is about to get upgraded. Our private enterprise social network is getting better!

From 8 August, those of us using Office 365 will be able to access Yammer using our standard computer and network login details (your email address as username and the same password you use to access your mail/computer). This is true for some hosted centers.

For those of us not yet using Office 365 (for ILRI/ICRAF staff and some hosted centers), login details remain the same.

But our version of Yammer will change:
• Many of the professional features now turned off in Yammer will be turned on
• A lot of the defunct groups and former colleagues will disappear from Yammer
• Yammer helps you get work done and collaborate with teams within and outside the organization.
• It will be easier to integrate work in your office documents right in Yammer and reduce email.
• You will also be in a position to access Yammer directly in Office365 at http://one.cgiar.org (for hosted centers already on Office 365)
