There will be Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) external auditors from Nairobi at ILRI Addis campus on July 12 and 13, 2016. Site inspection, EOHS document review and employees health and safety practice on site are the main elements of the audit.

Laboratories, kitchens, hostels, stores, recreation areas, workshops/generator unit, garage, water treatment, waste disposal areas, security posts, office areas and all premises are the main focus of inspection.

The auditors will be accompanied by EOHS office staff in their visits.

So please be informed about the audit and accord them your cooperation in any practical health and safety requirements they needed.
