National staff appointments: Addis Ababa, April – June 2016

Anteneh Kassahun joined the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as procurement and logistAnteneh Kassahunics assistant in the Supply Chain Unit effective  April 2016. Anteneh holds a BA degree in business administration and information systems (BAIS) from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).  Before joining ILRI, he was working as senior contract analyst at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in Ethiopia.

 

 

Abel Teshome was appointed research officer in feed and forages, Biosciences Program in May 2016.  Abel holds s PhD degAbel Teshomeree in plant breeding and biotechnology from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), an MSc degree in cellular, microbial and molecular biology from Addis Ababa University, and a BSc in biology from Debub University in Ethiopia.  Prior to joining ILRI, he was working as research fellow at the Department of Plant Breeding, Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Crop Production Science, SLU Alnarp, Sweden.
