Update on Program Management Framework Project

Please join us for an all staff meeting to hear an update on ILRI’s Program Management Framework Project on Friday, 13 May 2016 (11:00-12:30) at the JVC auditorium (and other ILRI locations via WebEx).

In July 2015, the Program Management (PM) Framework Project was initiated to address challenges and increase efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery through the implementation of consistent management processes at ILRI. The PM Framework Project completed its analyze and design phase at the end of 2015, which resulted in the development of defined processes for program and project management at ILRI, using input from a representative set of subject matter experts across divisions, geographies, and roles within the organization.

To communicate the defined processes to the staff that is responsible for managing our programs and projects, we are planning to conduct program/project management workshops in late June 2016. The main audience for the workshops is program leaders, project leaders, program/project management staff, and select support staff.

The meeting for the entire ILRI staff on Friday, 13 May will provide an update on the project and upcoming program/project management workshops that are being planned for late June 2016.

I strongly encourage all of you to attend this meeting in order to become updated on this critical initiative for our organization. A calendar invitation, including WebEX information, will follow with the details for the meeting.

Thank you.

Iain Wright.
