Congratulating Tadelle Dessie for winning an AWARD from the 6^th National Science, Mathematics, Research and Innovation Award yesterday, 14th of November 2015. What is pleasing is that Tadelle received this award together with two of his Graduate Fellows: Negussie Dana and Wondemenh Esatu (both from the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research) and others who are involved in the breed development  from the same institute. The award is in recognition of the achievement made by the researchers in the collaborative research program (ILRI, EIAR and WU ) in the development of the HORRO chicken breed.  They received the award  from The Prime Minister of the FDRE, H.E Ato Hailemariam Desalegn.

Well done Tadelle and team. Keep up the good work. Good news to the African Chicken Genetic Gains network.
