We are in the second stage of our project evaluating the possibility to disseminate knowledge about the “Glass jar test” to farmers in order to secure that maize is dry enough to prevent more aflatoxin contamination.

For this we need some hundred glass jars and we are hoping you might donate some. We are looking for:

Clean and dry glass jars, with tight sealing lids.

Any jar with this criteria is fine (preferably for volumes under 0.5 litres because of space limitations), jam jars, sauce jars, curry jars etc.

Irene Kagera is the leader of the project (I.Kagera) and the collection point is in Mara house, behind the former reception desk, where there will be a box.

I hope we can manage to get some jars for our project!
