Introducing Jumba Humphrey
Jumba Humphrey joined ILRI on 13 August 2015 as a graduate research fellow under the Livelihood, Gender and Impact (LGI) program. Contributing to a project whose central goal is gender mainstreaming and impact analysis of agricultural technology at household level, his work focuses on analysis of gender differentiated impacts of the Infection and Treatment Method (ITM) of immunisation against East Coast Fever in different livestock production systems in Uasin Gishu and Kajiado Counties in Kenya.
Jumba is an Agricultural Economist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University and he is currently a second year MSc student in Agricultural Economics from the same university. His research interest and expertise is in Impact Assessment, Livelihoods, Gender Mainstreaming and Livestock Systems.
