He will lead the overall ICT team for ICRAF and ILRI. He is based in ILRI Nairobi campus, but will frequently travel to ILRI Addis and ICRAF.

Stephen has over 25years’ experience in ICT, 13 years working overseas, including 7 in Africa.  He joins us from World Vision International in Australia, where he held the position of  Director, Global Service Desk (Global ICT).  Prior to this position, he held several senior IT Management positions in the same organization such as the Service Delivery Manager – Field Services Group, Global access and Connectivity Manager and Africa IT Director.

Stephen’s career highlights are on being an information systems leader, with extensive experience in people and project management in the not for profit sector with a focus on process and change management.  His work has always had a technology component, characterized by client engagement, planning and project implementation.  He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Swinburne Institute of Technology – Australia

Stephen’s hobbies include Bicycling and sailing with his family, travel, music – playing and producing.
