Barry Shapiro will present a plenary seminar on the Livestock Master Plan (LMP) at the ESAP 2015 Water and Livestock Development in Ethiopia Annual Conference, which is to be held from August 27-29 at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR).
He will detail what needs to be done in the Livestock Master Plan (2015–2020) to make the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) II successful.
He and Jean Hanson will also receive ESAP Career Awards during the seminar on Thursday August 27th, 2015.
Jean is being awarded “35 Years of Outstanding Achievements in Genebank Management and the Conservation of Forage Genetic Diversity” and Barry for “Outstanding Collaborative Leadership in the Analysis and Development of the Ethiopian Livestock Master Plan”.
