ICT unit is rolling out a system that does automatic backup of files from your computer to a network storage every time a file is created or is changed. The system is configured to back up a specific folder and email archive files. We advise this folder to be a single folder for all working documents and rename it as for example “ILRI_Documents”. Hence we recommend to transfer all your important data to this folder possible to your hard drive partition other than C: or Windows partition. You can leave your E-mail archive files to be intact wherever it is.

We planned to do this with all staff in the campus starting from Tuesday (14 July 2015). ICT staff will visit you according to the schedule below:
