Dear all, hope you are all doing well.

The time has come for me to move on and try a new experience/challenge. I have decided to pursue a PhD study and thus will be starting my classes quiet soon.

I appreciate all the opportunities given to me in ILRI to work in a multicultural environment with such a vibrant team and the professional guidance over the years. It is a privilege to work here and I have enjoyed every moment of working with and learning form colleagues in ILRI and hosted institutions. I was offered a scholarship in one of the competitive universities in and funding organization in Europe because of the skills and experiences I developed here. ILRI should be proud of this!!

It’s with mixed feelings that I’m leaving but I hope there will be more opportunities to work with you under different capacities and circumstances in the future. I won’t be using the cgiar email account as I’ll be leaving so please send me a message at fanosm@gmail.com. I’ll be happy to receive your messages.

Germany is not so far so I expect to see many familiar faces from ILRI during my stay there. Please don’t forget to pay me a visit. I’ll be in Univerisity of Hoheneium, Stuttgart.
