A Contract is awarded on May 1st 2015 to build new G+1gene-bank office building with a local contractor name Israel Kidane Building Contractor.

This new building plot is where the previous gene-bank is located and will be fenced during construction time which is for around 18 month .

As this project gets underway, the construction fencing might displace some existing parking space in front of half of the previous gene bank office block for about a month until under ground work is completed for construction vehicle access. The main road access will remain fully accessible during construction .
