This announcement is to keep you informed about the progress on some of the started construction projects and upcoming construction activities inside the campus.

• New gymnasium: The contractor (Israel Kidane B.C) has started the work on 27^th of February 2015 planned to finish the construction by January 2016. So far the work is progressed more than 10 % which is a head of the planed schedule.

• BMGF office refurbishment: The contractor (Mesfin Teklegiorgis B.C) has started the work on 2^nd of March 2015 planned to finish the construction by September 2015. So far the work is progressed around 13 %.

• Genebank lab and office block: Different contractors are selected for demolishing part of the existing gen laboratory office block and relocating service lines which will be started this Monday 30^th of March 2015.
  • The design of this new G+1 gym office is finalized and contractors are preparing tender documents for construction which is expected to be started in early May 2015.
• Signage: Wrapped campus signs are here from Kenya and currently the contractor is digging holes for the signs cage around the campus. Soon in the coming days, the eye-catching signs will be installed around the campus liaising with Kenyan technicians.
