On 10 February 2015, Dr Rodney Cooke and his wife Josée made an informal visit to ILRI’s office in Hanoi.

ILRI Vietnam Country Representative Hung Nguyen and his colleagues received Rodney and Josée and presented an overview of ILRI’s on-going research, projects and partnerships in Vietnam in particular and East and Southeast Asia in general. Hung also talked about the programs and CRPs that ILRI is currently working on and ILRI’s priority areas and future plans.

Rodney suggested exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnership with IFAD Vietnam and Southeast Asia, and intensifying the partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
