This is to let you all know that we have updated the proposal development process for internal use in the institute. The set of files include:

1. ILRI proposal development decision tree which includes:
   1. Pre-proposal development process (steps 1-4)
   2. Proposal development process
   3. Contracts & agreements process (by the IP & Legal Unit)
2. ILRI guidelines and proposal development
3. ILRI template for internal budgets

These documents have been placed at https://cgspace.cgiar.org/handle/10568/44931. Kindly note that only ILRI staff are able to download these documents; and you need to login as using your username and password as for ilrinet.

The steps and approvals for concept notes and proposal development and submission are shown in the documents.

Note that as from January 1, 2015, no concept note or proposal will be sent to a donor unless all required information is entered into the OCS resource mobilization module. The Business Development Unit will manage compliance.

Program Management Officers (PMOs) will be responsible for ensuring that all information on each concept note or proposal submitted is complete and fully approved according to the steps and appendices mentioned above.
