Edwin Oyieng’ has joined the Animal Biosciences Program as a Research Technician and is tasked with the collection and analysis of quantitative genetics data for reporting by research scientists.

Edwin holds a MSc. Animal Breeding and Genetics and a BSc. Animal Production from Egerton University, Kenya.

Prior to joining ILRI, he worked as a Program Officer at PICO-Eastern Africa and a consultant Research Technician at ILRI. He has experience in field surveys, quantitative animal genetics data analysis, project management and community development through innovation platforms.

We are happy to have him in the Animal Biosciences Program and request that you join us in welcoming him to the ILRI family.
