Kindly join in welcoming Nelly Mukami, our new Policy, Trade & Value Chain (PTVC) staff to ILRI.

Nelly Mukami Njiru joined the PTVC program on 10th November 2014, as Research Assistant. She will be working with Epi & Fadiga on Literature Reviews of Livestock Market participation papers and VC Performance.

Nelly holds a MSc Degree in Agriculture & Applied Economics from Egerton University (Kenya) and the University of Pretoria (South Africa). She also possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education & Extension from Egerton University.

She has been involved in designing research instruments, mapping of baseline survey research sites,

mapping of stakeholders along the beef and shoats value chains among other assignments.

We are excited to have Nelly Mukami Njiru aboard. Kindly join us in welcoming her to the ILRI and PTVC family.
