Please join in welcoming Salim Werner Nandonde who joined ILRI-Tanzania in June 2014 as Field Coordinator. Salim is based at the More Milk in Tanzania (MoreMilkiT) project office at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro, Tanzania, from where he is contributing to the MoreMilkiT and other ILRI collaborative projects contributing to the smallholder dairy value chain research for development (also referred to as ‘Maziwa Zaidi’). Prior to this appointment, Salim worked as a consultant for the MoreMilkiT project.
Salim recently completed his PhD in Agricultural Economics; on 9 September 2014 shortly after joining ILRI, Salim successfully defended his thesis which focused consumers’ choice of retail outlet attributes and quality of beef.
We are pleased to have Salim on board!
