Bruck holds BSc and Diploma in Computer Science from HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Before joining ILRI, he was working as Head of IT in Save the Children International, Ethiopia program.
Abdella Mulugeta has been appointed as ICT Customer Services Junior Technician in Information & Communication Technology effective 1 May 2014. Abdella holds BSc in Computer Science from HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Before he joined ILRI, he was working as ICT Customer Services Junior Technician in ILRI on temporary basis.
Abebaw Melakneh has been appointed as Driver the Livestock and Irrigation Value-Chains for Ethiopian Smallholders (LIVES) at Bahir Dar effective 1 May 2014. Abebaw holds a high school certificate. Before he joined ILRI, he was working as Driver, Amhara Regional Agricultural Research Institute (ARARI), Ethiopia.

n appointed as Research Associate in the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) effective 9 May 2014. Mohammed holds MSc in Plant Breeding from Haramaya University, Dire Dawa, Ethiopia and BSc in Agriculture (Plant Sciences) from Alemaya University, Dire Dawa, Ethiopia. Prior to joining ICARDA, he was working as a Researcher (Breeding & Pathology) in Cereal Crops Research Team in Oromia Agricultural Research Institute (OARI), Ethiopia.
Eyob Assefa has been appointed as Accountant – Budget/Hosted Institutes in Finance effective 13 May 2014. Eyob holds BA degree and Diploma in Accounting from Unity University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Prior to this appointment, he was a Consultant in ILRI.
Eleni Tadege has been appointed as Liaison Help Desk Assistant in National Liaison/Travel effective 13 May 2014. Eleni holds BA degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from Addis Ababa University and Diploma in Secretarial Science and Office Management from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce, Ethiopia. Before she joined ILRI, she was working as Administrative Assistant at the Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association, Ethiopia.
Dinkayew Wolde has been appointed as Driver in African RISING Project at Hosaena effective 15 May 2014. Dinkayew completed high school. Before he joined ILRI, he was working as a Manager Driver at Mekane Yesus School for the Deaf Project, Ethiopia.
Wossenu Tefera has been appointed as Driver in African RISING Project at Debre Berhan effective 15 May 2014. Wossenu holds a high school certificate. Before joining ILRI, he was working as a Driver /Mechanic at Netherlands Development Organization in Bahir Dar and Hawassa, Ethiopia.
Kagnew Kassahun has been appointed as Driver in African RISING Project at Maychew effective 16 May 2014. Kagnew holds a high school certificate. Prior to this appointment, he was working as a Driver with Urban Development Office, Ethiopia.
Behailu Gebeyehu has been appointed as an Accountant – Property & Inventory in Finance effective 20 May 2014. Behailu holds a BA degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Before he joined ILRI, he was working as Accountant on consultancy basis.
Dessalegn Tadesse has been appointed as Communications Officer in the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) effective 21 May 2014. Dessalegn holds a BA degree in Global Studies and International Relations from New Generation University College, Ethiopia and BSc degree in Information Systems from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Before he joined IWMI, he was working as a Communication Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ethiopia.
Negussie Tadesse has been appointed as National Project Coordinator in the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) effective 21 May 2014. Negussie holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from University of the Free State, Republic of South Africa, MSc in Crop Protection from Wageningen Agricultural University, The Netherlands and BSc in Plant Science from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Before he joined ICARDA, he was working as a Researcher in the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR), Debre Zeit, Ethiopia.

Selam Seifu has been appointed as Procurement & Logistics Assistant in Supply Chain effective 1 June 2014. Selam holds a BA degree in Management from St. Mary’s University College, Ethiopia and Diploma in Marketing Management from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce, Ethiopia. Prior to this appointment, she was working as Procurement Officer at Food for Hungry, Ethiopia.

Esayas Mulatu has been appointed as Agribusiness Development Officer in the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT) effective 10 June 2014. Esayas holds MBA in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University, Ethiopia and BSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from Bahir- Dar University, Ethiopia. Before he joined CIMMYT, he was working as Senior Technical Expert for Output Marketing at Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA).
