The CGIAR Consortium Shared Services team has negotiated with Elsevier a trial access for eight of Elsevier’s subject collections, complemented by capacity building and training services for the period between 5 May 2014 and 31 July 2014.

This trial aims to demonstrate the effectiveness and optimization of democratized access to scientific and agricultural content for all CGIAR centers and achieve economies of scale and scope, while mirroring CGIAR’s consolidation into a consortium across all functions.

The trial access is until 31 July 2014

The trial covers the following eight Elsevier’s subject collections:

–          Agricultural and Biological Sciences

–          Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology

–          Environmental Science

–          Immunology and Microbiology

–          Earth and Planetary Sciences

–          Veterinary Science & Veterinary Medicine

–          Economics, Econometrics, and Finance

–          Social Sciences
