Ayele Badebo has been appointed as Research Officer II in International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) effective 23 September 2013. Ayele holds PHD in Plant Pathology from Georg-August-University of Gottingen, MSc degree in Crop Science from Wageningen University and BSc degree in Plant Science from Addis Ababa University. Before joining ILRI he worked as a Senior Researcher in Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) – Kulumsa Agricultural Research Center.
Solomon Bayou has been appointed as Driver in Livestock and Irrigation Value-Chains for Ethiopian Smallholders (LIVES) Project effective 30 September 2013. Solomon has valid 5th grade driving license. Before joining LIVES Project he worked as a Driver in MercyCorps.
Elias Berta has been appointed as Project Manager in International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) effective 07 October 2013. Elias holds MSc degree in Economics from University of Mumbai and BA degree in Economics from University of Bombay. Before joining CIMMYT he worked as a Freelance Consultant.
Mohammed Ebrahim has been appointed as African RISING Research Site Coordinator in Africa RISING Project effective 1 October 2013. Mohammed holds BSc degree in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension from Wolaita Sodo University. Before joining ILRI he worked as an Agricultural Economics, Research Extensions and Farmers Linkage Coordinator in Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research – Mehoni Agricultural Research Center.
Kedir Heyi has been appointed as Driver in Livestock and Irrigation Value-Chains for Ethiopian Smallholders (LIVES) Project effective 11 October 2013. Kedir has valid 4th grade driving license. Before joining LIVES Project he worked as a Driver in Oromia Agricultural Sector Support Project.
Antenane Abeiy has been appointed as Project Manager in International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) effective 21 October 2013. Antenane holds MA degree in Economic Policy Management from Makerere University and BSc degree in Business Education from Addis Ababa University. Before joining CIMMYT he worked as a Manager, Strategic planning and Service Development in SayginDima Textile Company.
Alemayehu Ayeligne has been appointed as Driver in Livestock and Irrigation Value-Chains for Ethiopian Smallholders (LIVES) Project effective 01 October 2013. Alemayehu holds BA degree in Economics from Bahir Dar University and Diploma in Automecanics from Alpha Higher Institute of Distance Studies. He has valid 3rd grade driving license. Before joining LIVES Project he worked as a Driver in Save the Children.
Getachew Wudu has been appointed as Human Resources Officer in Human Resources department effective 01 October 2013. Getachew holds BA degree in Business Management from Jimma University in Ethiopia and he is expected to finish his Master of Public Administration (MPA) in December 2013. Before joining ILRI, Getachew worked as Human Resources Coordinator in Plan International Ethiopia.

en Abay has been appointed as Research Officer in International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) – Ethiopian Strategy Support Program II (ESSP II) Project effective 01 October 2013. Kibrewossen holds MSc degree in Development and Natural Resource Economics from Norwegian University of Life Sciences and BA degree in Economics from Mekelle University. Before joining IFPRI he worked as a lecturer in Mekelle University.
Workneh Dubale has been appointed as African RISING Research Site Coordinator in Africa RISING Project effective 21 October 2013. Workneh holds BSc degree in Plant Science from Debub University. Before joining ILRI he worked as a Project Manager in Food for the Hungry International.
Mekonnen Feyissa has been appointed as Agricultural Data Coordinator in International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) effective 16 October 2013. Mekonnen holds MSc and BSc degree in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University. Before joining CIMMYT he worked as a Web Development Officer in International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
