Henok Abiye has been appointed as a Senior Human Resources Assistant on Consultancy contract in Human Resources effective May 6, 2013.  Henok holds a BA degree in Public Administration and Development Management from Addis Ababa University and Diploma in Human Resources from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce.  Before joining ILRI, he was working as a Manager, HR Optimization and Leadership Development in ZTE Corporation – Ethiopia/ Telecommunications.  Henok will be required to assist recruitment and induction related activities.  He can be reached on extension line 2171.

Tadios Tekalign has been appointed as a Senior Human Resources Assistant on Consultancy contract in Human Resources effective May 6, 2013.  Tadios holds a BA degree in Public Administration from Addis Ababa University.  Before he joined ILRI, he was working as a Human Resources Assistant in International Organization for Migration (IOM).  Tadios  will be responsible to assist in compensation & benefits, performance management & training & development initiatives.  He can be reached on extension line 2174.

Anne Kabuthu has been appointed as a Consultant in Finance for a period of 3 months effective May 6, 2013. Anne holds a MBA degree from the University of Leicester, UK and a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Nairobi. She is a Certified Public Accountant CPA(K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).Before joining ILRI-Addis, Anne worked as a consultant at ILRI-Nairobi. She has previously worked at ICARDA as well as other organizations in both the private and not-for-profit sector. Anne’s role will be to provide an additional resource to support the work undertaken by ILRI’s Finance team in Addis Ababa. In addition, she will assume the role of Acting Chief Accountant upon retirement of the Chief Accountant at the end of June 2013, until a replacement is in place.
