Information services staff are often asked by staff about the e-resources they can access online. Here’s a summary:
For staff on the Nairobi and Addis campuses:
- We subscribe to several hundred journals – directly or through the CGIAR Consortium. These are listed at http://infoilri.wordpress.com/ilri-journals-list/ Each title links o the journal home page where you can search and obtain articles.
- We ALSO have collaborative agreements to access many Elsevier titles on ScienceDirect [when you open a URL it will ask you to choose an ‘identity’] and to search SCOPUS (ILRI staff please obtain account details by sending an email to Wilson Maina in the Nairobi infocentre).
- Through our membership of the Kenya Research and Academic libraries consortium, we have access to thousands of other resources through the ‘PERII’ initiative. Access these online.
For staff NOT on the two campuses, we use EZProxy to provide access to some of these resources.
You need to follow this link http://ejournals.ilri.org/login using your usual ILRI username and password. If you encounter a problem, please send an email to Infocentre-kenya@cgiar.org.
If you can’t get any document you want, please contact Wilson Maina in the Nairobi infocentre.
